    String Network Stitch

Published: Nov 22, 2022 by Tamara Kelly · Leave a Comment

The String Network Stitch is a simple lace pattern with lots of possibilities! Only single crochets, double crochets, and chains are used, the two-row repeat makes it great for relaxing and crocheting on the go!

How to Crochet the String Network Stitch Written Instructions

    This pattern uses a stitch multiple of 4 + 1, + 5.

For example, you could start with a chain of 10, 14, 18... 38, 42, 46...  any number that is a multiple of 4, plus 6.

This pattern features a two-row repeat.

The gauge will be determined by your yarn and hook choices, as well as your personal tension.

TIP: Put a stitch marker in the 4th ch from the hook before making the first st in Row 1 and Row 3. This marks the top of the "first dc" of the row, making it easier to find when working the next row.
