Quick question: I've finished the body and the belly and was playing around to check the pillow fit and it is really tight. Is this normal? I checked my stitch count and I ordered the 10-inch mushy pillow form but it looks like I'm gonna have to really stretch the body and belly together to make them fit. Just wondering if that is normal. Does the yarn stretch or the pillow just conform to the crochet as I put them together? I sometimes have a hard time "trusting the process" and I'm hoping this will be one of those times! Do you have any reassurances for me!? Like "as long as the stitch count is right, it will be fine," would be nice!!!
I love this pattern. I'm making it for my granddaughter. She is 11 and has been "Ladybug" since she was born. (It has been shortened to "Bug" as she has gotten older but she's still our Ladybug).
Thank you for your blog, your patterns, and your live streams ( I usually do the replay. I'm never very successful with watching lives.). I've learned a lot from your channel and your tutorials. Thanks for teaching an "old dog" new tricks.

Hi Susan! They do stretch to fit - there's only one time I got a ball that I think was oversized, and I was able to let some of the filling out on a seam and stitch it back up. You can see that process at https://www.tiktok.com/@mooglyblog/video/7351140888397057311?is_from_webapp=1&sender_device=pc&web_id=7369306702175290922
Thank you so much! ♥
